Open Water Scuba Certification consists of classroom, pool, and open water training. Program fee includes certified SSI Instructor, educational material and class/pool sessions. Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Please note, in addition to the course cost, each participant must either purchase or own the following items: mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit boots and mouthpiece. A swimsuit and towel is needed for each class as well.
8 Week Program; test dives not included. Class meets Tuesday nights from 6pm-8:45pm.

SCUBA RANGERS PROGRAM
For ages 8-12
Scuba Diving is a totally awesome sport and SCUBA RANGERS is a way cool scuba class for kids ages 8 to 12. Participants do not become Scuba certified. This class meets once a week, they learn safe diving practices, and participate in games and activities. Basic participants receive a divers log, stickers, booklet, snorkel and T-shirt. Scuba Rangers make a scrapbook and will receive a video of themselves and classmates diving. A parent’s orientation is held the first day of class. To participate in the advanced program participant must have attended the basic class first.

SCOUTS BADGE PROGRAM
Bring your Troop to the YMCA to complete badge requirements directly related to the water. Program includes 1-hour instructional period with a trained instructor, and a 30-minute free swim period. Please contact the Aquatic Director to set up a program.
Program fee is $48 (minimum of 8 scouts) $4 each additional scout; for groups requiring more than 1 instructor there will be an additional $20 fee. A non-refundable deposit of $20 is due at the time of program set-up.
Boy Scouts Program:
Belt Loop, Sports Pin, Aquanaut, Elective 19, Swimming & BSA Swimmer Test. We have an Eagle Scout on Staff who is involved with this program.
Girl Scout Program:
We offer a boating and water safety program for Daisy's and Brownies, Swimming or Water Fun Badge for Jr. Girl Scouts, and assistance with the Water Sports badge for cadets or make your own program and give them a patch.
