Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA offers Free Military Family Memberships
The Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA, the Armed Services YMCA, the Department of Defense and YMCA of the
USA have joined forces in a new initiative to address the needs of families of deployed military personnel who live far from a military installation and require YMCA support and programming. The Armed Services YMCA and Department of Defense Outreach Initiative provides $31 million in government funding for families to receive memberships at full-facility YMCAs in their communities
