FAMILY MEMBERSHIP SCHEDULE
Y WALK WEDNESDAYS
A series of free, guided evening walks featuring downtown neighborhoods, history, walking and health, architecture, wildlife and new development in Wilkes-Barre. All walks begin promptly at 6:00 pm leaving from the YMCA lobby. Walks are approximately 90 minutes long and lead by volunteer leaders. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring water.
In case of rain or extreme heat the walk will be postponed until the same time the following evening. If raining or hot the following evening then the walk is cancelled and will not be rescheduled. For information call the YMCA, 570-823-2191, visit or visit the Y’s Facebook page.
FREE CLASSES FOR INDIVIDUALS 50+
The following classes are FREE to to anyone in our community age 50+ thanks to a sponsorship by the Area Agency on Aging Prime Time Health Program! Sign-in at the welcome desk is REQUIRED.
Water Fitness (Mon 4:30pm, Wed 2:30pm & Fri 4:30pm) A low impact fun and invigorating way to exercise! Most classes are conducted in the shallow end of the pool and enhanced by music. Each class is designed to stretch and tone muscles, promote cardiovascular fitness, reduce stress, improve physical appearance, and develop a sense of well-being.
Top to Bottom (Thurs 4:45pm) Get in shape from top to bottom! Class will be different each week using a variety of equipment and exercises for all levels of fitness.

POUND (Fri 11am)(Sat 9am) Pound is the world's first cardio jam sessions inspired by the energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Upbeat, a little sassy and amazing music. We provide the stix so come as you are and rockout your workout.
Cycle 30 Together (Tues 12pm) (Wed 4:30pm) (Fri 5pm) (Sat 11am) Your 30-minute cardio workout. Music will make the time fly, and you will feel great working up a sweat! You can make the most out of Cycle 30 Together, no matter if you are just starting an exercise program or have been racing bikes for years. It’s only 30 minutes and the format is easy to follow. Since the bike is completely adjustable, you are in control. It’s also perfect for those that are short on time and men and women of all ages
STRONG by Zumba
An explosive fusion of HIIT and music. Simple and powerful moves reversed engineered to amazing music that will drive you to achieve more. You will leave this class feeling strong, feeling like a champion!
A total body strength class covering fundamental KettleBell exercises. Beginners will feel comfortable and learn how to use a kettlebell. Experienced users will work on form and new exercises. This ever-changing class will never disappoint you!
Metafit™ is the original 30 minute, non choreographed, bodyweight only HIIT workout. Metafit combines the latest HIIT training techniques with traditional 'Old school' bodyweight exercises to set the metabolism on fire! Metafit™ is tough, that's why it gets results!
