Aquatics: Lifeguards

Lifeguards wanted for the hours of 8am - 12pm. Must have current American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certifications. Please fill out an application at the YMCA front desk or send resume to ddempsey@greaterscrantonymca.org

Group Exercise: Cycling

Cycling instructors with day-time availability wanted between the hours of 10am and 1pm Monday- Friday. Must be cheerful and kind and enjoy instructing to a diverse crowd. Newly certified instructors looking for experience are welcome to apply. Classes have mixed abilities and a great social atmosphere. Wellness: Member Engagement Floor Representative

Introductory part-time position open with evening and weekend hours. Up to 20+ hours available. Must have an outgoing/positive attitude and enjoy meeting and working with people. Great verbal and electronic communication skills are necessary. Exercise and workout equipment knowledge is a plus. WORK STUDY POSITIONS

It is the responsibility of the student to verify work study eligibility through the college they attend. Once work study is verified and allocated students must request an interview for with the appropriate director for areas of selected interest. YMCA directors will work directly with college administration to schedule those who qualify.
